Course Objectives Obtaining the knowledge about the effects of human rights law in the law system and bringing the knowledge that will gain in human rights law as a practice discipline to an usable level is the aim of this course.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • • Will learn the human rights concept comparatively related public freedoms, right, freedom, equality etc. concepts.
  • • Will recognize rights such as civil and political rights, social rights, group rights, economic rights, solidarity rights etc. which are contemporary democratic societies' and indivual's main achievements in the categories they belong to and will apprehend these right sorts by human rights as of their places, importances and functions.
  • • Will have information about the issues of how and in which content human rights appear and protect in the internationally recognized contracts and the work of protection mechanisms.
  • • Will learn the duties and responsibilities of places of jurisdiction and national law in the human rights' protection and usage in practice, sharing of task and responsibility about national and international rights.
  • • Will have information about individual application requirements (acceptability and in terms of content examination conditions).
Course Description Concept of human rights, its historical development, human rights and its protection in international law, institutions, human rights in constitutions, rights and duties in 1982 constitution, European Convention on Human Rights, European Courts of Human Rights, individual application procedure and precedents.
