| Course Objectives | The course aims to develop an understanding related to principles & regulations , to give information about the energy market and the rules governing this market and to create a legal perspective on the energy market. |

| Course Description | The following topics will be examined: Starting from the development process of EU energy markets, liberation process of Turkish energy market and administrative structure of Energy Regulatory Authority (EMRA), the functioning of the institution, and the legal nature of its decisions and remedies against its decisions and legislation of electricity, natural gas, oil, LNG and LPG markets, market models, market activities (generation/production; transmission, distribution, supply) besides market players, the application of competition rules to the energy market and the settlement of disputes in the energy market. |
