Climate Legal Clinic
2024 - 2025 Academic Year
Strengthening the Legal Capacities of Key Stakeholders in the Protection of Seas and Coasts

Our Climate Legal Clinic students participated in the program held in Köyceğiz on May 17–18, 2025, together with the course instructor, Av. Özlem Altıparmak, with the aim of strengthening the legal capacities of key stakeholders in the protection of seas and coasts.
On-Site Inspection in the Solar Power Plant Project Case

In the final session of the Climate Legal Clinic course, our students participated in an on-site inspection as part of a lawsuit filed for the cancellation of a solar power plant project planned to be built on an olive grove. This allowed our students to take part in a practical legal proceeding for the first time and gain an unforgettable experience that will stay with them throughout their professional careers.
After the inspection, the students presented their prepared presentations under the shade of trees in Karaburun, accompanied by tea and coffee.
