The Tenth Criminal Law Days Took Place
The transformation of criminal law was discussed in detail at the 10th Criminal Law Days symposium, titled “Turkish-German Criminal Law Days II: Transformation of Economic Criminal Law in the Digital Age,” organized by the IUE Faculty of Law on Friday, October 2nd.
The opening speeches for the event, held in the D Block Multi-Purpose Hall, were delivered by IUE Faculty of Law Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alp Limoncuoğlu, IUE Faculty of Law Head of the Public Law Department Prof. Dr. Veli Özer Özbek, and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Temmuz Oğlakcıoğlu from the Saarland University Faculty of Law.
The first session, chaired by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Temmuz Oğlakçıoğlu, featured IUE Faculty of Law Asst. Prof. Dr. Arzu Aşçı, Prof. Dr. Christian Becker, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pınar Bacaksız, and Attorney Eren Başar. The guests of the second session, chaired by Prof. Dr. Veli Özer Özbek, were Prof. Dr. Kilian Wegner, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serkan Meraklı, Dr. Mustafa Enes Özcan, and Research Assistant Burak Sarıyar. Our students showed great interest in the program, which continued throughout the day.
