Course Objectives The purpose of this course is to obtain a solid understanding of the corpus making up the law on Information Technologies. The course also aims to provide information about becoming legally literate and aware of the current and future necessities of information Technologies.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • ● Define the concepts of big data & quantum computing
  • ● Explain global contemporary IT law matters, interaction of law and tech.
  • ● Interpret e-commerce and relevant legal matters.
  • ● Discuss artificial intelligence & robotics, internet of things.
  • ● Evaluate the concepts of cybercrimes and cyber security.
Course Description The content of this course is to give information about the concepts of access providers, data, big data, e-commerce platforms, based on legislation, case law, regulatory agency decisions, doctrine and literature regarding Turkey, the USA, the EU, the UK and Japan. This course also covers the concepts of cyber security and cybercrime that all internet users should pay attention.
