Course Objectives | The main objective of this course is to ensure that the students gain knowledge about the United Nation Convention on the Law of the Sea, territorial sea, contiguous zone, exclusive economic zone, continental shelf, high seas, straits, legal status of Turkish straits, Aegean dispute and current issues in the law of the sea. |

Course Description | The aim of this course is to explain the development and concepts of the international law of the sea and the international conventions, including the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, national and international maritime zones regimes, current developments and debates in this field. |
