      Course Objectives The objective of this course is to provide a general point of view and understanding on international labour law institutions and provisions, particularly about international treaties approved by Turkey and supervision organs of them.
      Learning Outcomes

      The students who succeeded in this course;

      • to identify International Labour Organization(ILO) and foundation, aims, structure and working principles of it.
      • to define international labour standards regulated by basic ILO Conventions and Recommendations.
      • to evaluate the target on “decent work” and studies towards to it.
      • to discuss the obstacles before the goal of “decent work”.
      • to identify the provisions of European Social Charter and conclusions of European Committee of Social Rights(ECSR) related with labour law.
      • to compare the rules and practice of Turkish Labour law with international labour law.
      • to examine applicability of the rules of International Labour law and decisions of supervision organs in Turkish labour law practice.
